Select has an excellent mentorship program which helps prepare the clinician for taking the CHT exam. You will meet regularly with our Hand Team to stay current on the latest trends and evidenced based information to improve best practices with your patients. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our referral sources and develop relationships that help promote excellent outcomes. Responsibilities
Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB,clinician expertise, patient perception).
Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
CPR certified
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
