This is mid-management level work that includes semi-skilled and skilled technical, repair and maintenance work on all city facilities. Work includes electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping and other building maintenance and equipment repair work. Provides project management for a variety of Municipal Facilities projects. Also, performs inspections, diagnoses problems, and makes appropriate repairs or coordinates repairs with outside contractors.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in project management, facility management or related field PLUS two (2) years experience in construction management or facility management.ORAssociate Degree in related field of construction management, project management, facility management or related field PLUS four (4) years experience in construction management or facility management. Prior supervisory experience is preferred.ORHigh School Diploma or equivalency PLUS six (6) years experience in a related field.ORCurrently an active full-time employee with the City, employed for a minimum of five (5) years.SALARY INFORMATION:Placement within range depends on experience, education, and training.POSITION-Operations Manager
