Job Title: Pega Architect

Location: St. Louis, MO (Strictly Onsite from day one)

Duration: Long term

Description:We are looking to hire a skilled Pega Architect to design and develop enterprise-level Pega applications for our company. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment of large-scale Pega projects. This may involve Architecting BPM applications, integrating web services, designing data models and frameworks, and collating business analysis requirements.

To ensure success as a Pega Architect, you should have advanced knowledge of Pega Class Hierarchy, experience with Java-based applications, and high-level project management skills. A top-level Pega Architect understands the needs of the company and designs scalable applications to improve process management.

Responsibilities:
  • 8+ years of Software Development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Pega
  • Proven experience as a Pega Architect.
  • Exceptional knowledge about PEGA Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) methodology.
  • Experience in Pegax.
  • Pega certifications, CLSA.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
  • Delivery of large scale systems.
  • Credit Card Disputes domain knowledge.
  • A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners.

Required Skills:
  • Engage with customer SME / Architect and understand pain areas / project requirements.
  • Create functional Design, Construct Class Hierarchy and Object Models, Define Test Strategy.
  • Design / Architect PEGA solution for customer problem.
  • Help create a road map for the project.
  • Provide technical leadership to the project team.
  • Derive and enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding.
  • Familiarity with J2EE, XML, Java, JSP, and EJB.
  • Work on multiple to provide technical leadership on PEGA project implementation.
  • Help enable PEGA experts to the next level by way of mentoring / taking training.
  • Perform Business architecture blueprint within Pega PRPC using the Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) methodology.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of coding languages including Angular JS, Java, and JQuery.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
  • Enforce best practices in Pega Business architecture and functional requirements.
  • Anchor the Requirement Discussions with Business and IT Stakeholders.
