ResponsibilitiesThe St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) Pharmacy Department is looking for a dynamicPharmacistto join our team. This is aper diem, variable shiftposition, works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, and helps with our inpatient and outpatient needs. This Pharmacist duties include, but are not limited to:

visit with patients to obtain medication lists

coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety

the scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services

QualificationsEducation and Work Experience

current state Registered Pharmacist License

experience in hospital pharmacy operations, preferred

BS Degree in Pharmacy, required; Doctor of Pharmacy, preferred

BLS certification required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained
