The Patient Service Coordinator is responsible for assisting in processing and transferring a patient’s prescription to the patient’s preferred dispensing pharmacy. This is a fast-paced work environment which requires high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and teamwork to accomplish daily workload and ensure high touch patient care. The position supports all job responsibilities with regulatory compliance, including pharmacy best practices. Receive prescription orders and verify the accuracy of the information, including patient details, medication, and dosage insurance, and patient interactions.

Making outbound and answering inbound calls with patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details, coverage information or gather additional information to process the prescription.

Additional Skills & Qualification:

2+ years of Healthcare experience ( insurance, benefits, pharmacy, pharm tech, prior auth, clinical, medical insurance, healthcare insurance)

Basic to intermediate technical knowledge with MS Office Suite

Experience reviewing prescriptions a plus

Pharm tech license a plus

Strong attention to detail

Experience reviewing documents. heathcare and Insurance industry experience would be a plus

Shift is M-F, availability between 7:00a-8:00p onsite - must be open to work any 8 hour shift.About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
