DescriptionIntroductionWeekend Night shift PRN position, must have night shift availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, 6pm to 6:30am. We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Laboratory Assistant receives and processes specimens and carries out basic laboratory procedures. Additionally, there are required clerical tasks such as greeting patients, informing them of the procedures, answering phones and emails, and maintaining records. You will accurately identify and label.

You will prepare specimens for analysis and testing.

You will unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.

You will process all necessary paperwork for submitted specimens.

You will perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

Phlebotomy certification preferred

Must have a minimum of 6 months current phlebotomy experience

Six months computer keyboarding or equivalent preferred
