Plant Maintenance Technician

Job Description:We are currently seeking a in-house Maintenance Technician for plant equipment and general maintenance. A qualified candidate should have a background in general repair and maintenance of equipment and tools including small engines. Examples include checking fluid levels on engines, performing periodic maintenance on vehicles, fork trucks, air compressors, welders, paint booth man lifts. Assist in heavy repairs such as changing vehicle transmissions and engines. The work is mostly performed inside a shop setting, but can include travel and working outside with mobile equipment. Typical schedule is Mon - Fri 630 am - 3 pm. (Initial training schedule is 7-330)Job Qualifications:Must be able to work in small areas.Occasionally must be able to work outdoors in wet and cold (below freezing) weather.Must be able to climb ladders.Must have previous experience using mechanical hand-tools.
