Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionCandidates will operate equipment used for manufacturing and binding of carbon fibers in a safe manner. All candidates will start out on the line, where they will monitor machines that bind carbon fiber with resin. This area requires strong attention to detail. Candidates may also be loading spools of carbon fiber, which is a physically intensive task. Eventually, candidates will move on to cutting and binding the finished product. Some contractors may also work the mixing station, where the binding resin is mixed. The position requires lifting, turning, bending, reaching, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time. Strong candidates are those who have the initiative to seek out additional ways to help if there is downtime in their assigned task.Responsibilities

Operate equipment used for manufacturing and binding of carbon fibers.

Monitor machines that bind carbon fiber with resin.

Load spools of carbon fiber.

Cut and bind the finished product.

Work at the mixing station to mix binding resin.

Perform physically intensive tasks such as lifting, turning, bending, reaching, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.

Seek out additional ways to help during downtime.

Essential Skills

Basic computer skills.

Ability to do simple math.

Ability to lift up to 30 LBS.

Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts.

Must be clean-shaven if required to wear a respirator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates from food service or retail are preferred.

Candidates with any kind of experience will be considered.

Candidates need to be prepared for the strong smell of resin. The dress code includes jeans, plain long-sleeve t-shirts (recommended), and closed-toed shoes (steel-toed boots are required). Candidates will be on their feet for extended periods, so comfortable shoes are important. All shifts are 12-hour shifts, with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. Candidates will work a swing schedule, repeating every two weeks. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (work); Wednesday, Thursday (off). Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (off); Wednesday, Thursday (work).
