Programmer I

Location: Chesterfield, MO Description: Our client is currently seeking a Programmer I

• Application Design & Development - Research, design, and develop applications using C#, ASP.Net, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, Ajax, JQuery and other third party development tools as recommended by the organization. Programmers are responsible for the full cycle of the applications which includes requirement, development, testing and implementation
• Application Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Monitor application status and perform best response time on the in-house applications. Reduce or eliminate unnecessary or accidental shutdowns. Respond to and resolve issues that arise with applications by researching the request, estimating time to complete, changing the necessary code, testing, and implementing.
• Communications - Provide regular and timely project status updates to management. Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with peers.
• Cross Training - Participate in cross training to ensure departmental goals and objectives are completed. This includes providing training to other staff members on application development and processes, as well as receiving training on other responsibilities.
• Skill Development - Remain current on development tools, standards and processes, data transmission standards and practices available in the industry to take advantage of leading edge technology. Attend training courses, seminars and conferences designed to build knowledge of the same.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems from a four year college or university, or other equivalent combination of education and experience. 0-3 years in technical design and development with programming languages like C#/VB.Net, C, Java.
• Web programming with ASP.Net, HTML, Java Scripts. Experience with Ajax, jQuery, SSRS reporting a plus. Possess a fundamental level of knowledge regarding MOHELA business processes and the loan servicing industry.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal 6C Security Clearance after hire
