Alone and with other Kiewit districts through internal joint ventures, Cherne not only provides challenges but the stability and career development opportunities expected in a world-class multi-billion-dollar organization.LocationThis position is based at the Calumet site located in Great Falls, MT.ResponsibilitiesInput and process payroll on a daily basis for craft and staff employees for the project site in Great Falls, MT.

Prepare and generate payroll-related reports as required.

Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.

Work closely with the jobsite contact(s), corporate payroll, and the tax department to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with government agencies and internal policies.

Process formalities for new employees and terminations.

Issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.

Coordinate craft onboarding scheduling and paperwork

Assist with related special projects as needed.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED

Strong organizational skills to sort and handle an abundance of timecards

Basic computer knowledge, data entry skills, and experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Prior SAP or other payroll/timekeeping system knowledge preferred

Willingness and ability to work more than eight (8) hours per day when necessary

Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
