Quality Assurance Analyst IV

Telesis7 is currently hiring a Sr QA Lead - FULL BENEFITS This position is 100% onsite (5 days a week in office with a great team). This is a Great role for you if you enjoy facilitating and participating in process meetings, demonstrating influence, and leading and mentoring others (stakeholders and QA team members). We are looking for someone who is well versed in QA methodology and testing principles, but also has experience leading teams with the desire to establish process.

• Work through process transformation, requiring a lot of collaboration, persistence and patience.
• Speak confidently and tactfully to push for improvements in process.
• Pay very close attention to detail and coach the team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement.
• Perform some hands on testing as welly - creating tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched.
• Identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them.
• Collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program as defects are found.
• Run the test again to make sure there are no new bugs and to make sure the defect found has been corrected.

• QA experience - Lead Level
• Leadership experience and mentoring
• Proven track record in moving / championing process
• Collaborator and meeting facilitation experience.
• Intermediate level of understanding SQL.
• Knowledge of how to test GUI and Web Service apps.
• Familiarity with reading logs.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, ALM or ALM Octane.
• Leadership - Able to demonstrate influence, ability to lead others (stakeholders and QA team members)
