Quality Assurance Manager

This role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, comply with regulatory requirements, and continuously improve our quality systems.Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Manage and lead the QA team, providing training and support to ensure high performance.

Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Collaborate with other departments, such as production and R&D, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, ensuring the company’s compliance.

Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.

Oversee the management of quality documentation and records.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, FSMA, GMP).

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with internal audits and client audits.

Proficiency in HACCP and cGMP.
