Lead cross-functional teams through the entire software implementation process and be responsible for overall solution design, including building and testing. Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality. Identify, define, and implement needed enhancements in the methods, standards and processes to better enable teams and constructive enterprise applications. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. Coordinate installation of software system. Design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design. Determine system performance standards and develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation. Modify existing software design to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Train users to use new or modified equipment. Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related, and 4 years of relevant work experience.In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Leading the solutioning and design of Provider Data management, Claims, Audit, Business Operations Process Modeling (BOPM) applications and integrations; (2) Leading the solutioning and design concepts of Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) development; (3) Leading data integration designs via Micro Services, APIs, and Kafka streaming.
