Responsibilities:

Senior Data EngineerJob Location: Ideally in St. Louis, MO

In this role, you will:

Architect, build, and launch highly scalable and reliable data pipelines
Work with cross-functional client teams to leverage large amounts of data to deliver insights and drive business value
Improve efficiency and quality of data processes, including implementation of quality tracking
Profile and analyze source system data and design ETL methodologies
Contribute to the development of data warehouses, data science projects, and business intelligence solutions
Design and implement back-end data integration
Implement the pipelines you design and mentor other members of the team
Advise on hardware/infrastructure and software needs
Interview and communicate results with business stakeholders

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

Experience working with client leadership to understand their overarching needs and provide data driven results
Strong background in relational and dimensional data warehouse implementation and design
Strong SQL skills with an understanding of at least one other scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc.)
Proficiency with multiple ETL tools and data storage environments (For example: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks, Snowflake, Qlik, Talend, Matillion, etc.)
Experience working in a cloud-based solution (preferred experience in multiple cloud environments, including AWS and/or Azure)
Proven ability to lead and directly contribute to multiple, simultaneous initiatives
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced flexible and agile environment
Preferred proven experience leading development utilizing Alteryx
5+ years of experience around the skills mentioned above
