Job Description

As a Senior Federal Technology Architect in the Cerner Government Services Cyber Operations organization, you will evaluate existing and proposed systems and system enhancements to determine cyber and connectivity requirements to ensure Cyber best practices are followed, and Level of Effort is understood. You will effectively demonstrate knowledge of how to securely architect systems. You will design and develop solutions to integrate applications between Cerner and federal client systems. You will review visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs. You will partner with Cerner and client delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scope. You will collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users, and other stakeholders as appropriate. You will troubleshoot and debug system issues to increase integration performance and quality of data. You will brief senior Cerner and client Leadership on the status, timelines, and cyber and connectivity level of effort for projects.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 2 years of system engineering and/or system architecture work experience
    • At least 6 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
