Senior framing and finish carpenter manager

We are a small construction company looking to hire a new senior framing and finish carpenter. Our hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. We work all over the greater Kansas City area. You must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license to use our company vans. Drug tests are required for our insurance. You are welcome to use your own tools and transportation for an additional pay.

You will be required to interact with clients, manage multiple jobsites, manage subcontractors. You will sometimes have to work alone on smaller sites. Overtime is sometimes required to keep jobs on task (Very seldom.)

Skills that are required

-Framing (Framing walls, structural walls, windows, doors.)

-Finish work

-Installing windows

-Installing doors both interior and exterior

-Able to read a blueprint

-Paint (prime and paint small projects. We have professional painters for medium to large projects.)

-Plumbing (Minor skills such as installing toilets, installing faucets, setting vanities, crimping PEX lines, shower kits.)

-Electrical (Minor skills such as installing outlets, switches and disc lights.)

-Hang cabinets and assemble cabinet kits.

-Flooring installation (click flooring LVT, minor carpet installation.)

-Management skills

-The ability to learn new things and use YouTube when you get stuck on something :)

We are a small company and are growing quickly. We like laid back, easy-going and low stress people. This position is a contract position to start. Pay is bi-weekly.
