Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services– Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers Training is looking for a Full Flight Simulator (FFS) design and integration engineer for our Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team in Hazelwood, MO; Tampa, FL; Miami, FL; Orlando, FL; Long Beach, CA; or Menlo Park, CA .This engineer will primarily lead development, design, integration, and delivery of military P-8 and E-7 Operational Flight Trainers (OFT), which are closely related to commercial 737NG Full Flight Simulators. The Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers Training Programs are challenging, complex and fast-paced. This leader will be responsible for delivering quality technical solutions and influencing a team of engineers responsible for the flawless execution of the engineering work statement. Tasks include, but are not limited to: working closely with Program Managers and Chief Engineers to understand and connect customer needs with technical solutions; decomposing customer requirements into features aligned with deliverables and within the Systems Architecture; guiding junior engineers in meeting your technical vision; coordination of resources across the portfolio of solutions; and own the responsibility of delivering on-time. The leader will act as a work package status focal and a trusted partner to E-7 and P-8 Program Management.Position Responsibilities:

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
10+ years’ related work experience (or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience)
5+ years of experience with FAA Level D (or equivalent international standard) Flight Simulator design and certification
5+ years of experience holding engineers accountable to commitments
5+ years of leadership on cross functional teams
Experience communicating at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or related field of study
Experience with (development or integration of) commercial Boeing SimBinary software
Relevant experience supporting AWACS, E-7, P-8, or commercial 737 derivative programs
Operating within a matrix organization
Experience with defense related contracts
Experience working across business units
Experience in the SAFe/Agile processes
Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
