Provide critical support and independent review of the work of teammates Candidate shall be able to show recent demonstrated ability in one or more of the following areas: Project Engineering support to small team environment where individuals are entrepreneurial self-starters who produce engineering products involving multiple disciplines. Research & Development and product development involving highly technical, complex engineering content.Position Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will provide project engineering leadership for a team of engineers

Assist the program manager in executing cost, technical and schedule management

Serve as a project leader responsible for establishing and overseeing cost and schedule performance baselines

Lead Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management for the project.

Drive daily execution of team based project tasks to ensure technical, cost and schedules are met.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Experience in project leadership including planning, implementing and executing program plans

1+ years of experience working on the development and integration of a complex system (technical and programmatic)

Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel at all organization levels including suppliers and customers

1+ years experience with risk, issue and opportunity management principles and tools, and the ability to apply them in various situations

Experience as an Agile software development team lead

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Project leadership experience leading a multi-disciplined team in managing the technical performance, cost and schedule for the design and development of a complete end to end product development life cycle.

Active Security clearance

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
