It's all part of what makes #MyRichmondFed a great place to work!We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Event Management engineer that is familiar with the full life-cycle of the product - experience with adding base features, customized/enhanced workflow and the integration of new alarm sources. In this position, the engineer would be augmenting an existing event management group to assist in all day-to-day activities including vendor support/management and customer interactions. Has proven skills on technical implementations and strong development background and strong technical consulting skills on ServiceNow platform and ITOM/Event management. Define, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with our clients' business problems and ServiceNow Implementation Best Practices.What You Will Do:- ServiceNow focused ITOM work with Event Management
- Ensure critical alerts are processed and incidents generated
- Build ServiceNow event management rules/workflows for VMWare
- Build ServiceNow event management rules/workflows for Windows SCOM
- Build ServiceNow event management rules/workflow for Dynatrace
- Build ServiceNow event management rules/workflow for Netcool Omnibus
- Build ServiceNow event management rules/workflow for various other server/database platforms
- Network and server monitoring
- At least three years of experience with ServiceNow Event Management or equivalent event management solutions including creating new workflows utilizing automations, creating new workflows utilizing impact policies, and creating new integrations
- Ability to take a customer through the full life cycle of ingestion, from initial contact to production
- Experience working on a multi-tier environment
- Experience with Netcool Omnibus a plus
- 3 years of experience with JavaScript
- Understanding of the technical details of syslog, SNMP, and REST API
- At least one year of UNIX system administration
- Understanding and ability to work within a Scrum/KANBAN/Agile environment

- The national hiring range for the ServiceNow Engineer is $87,500- $143,000 annually. For candidates in certain markets (Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA; New York City Metro Area, Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA), the listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
