The ideal candidate will beresponsible for overseeing the daily shipping operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and on time. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, coordinate with various departments, and maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy. The most successful supervisor will be passionate about quality control and sustained customer satisfaction, achieved through effective employee training and implementation of company policies.Brief Summary of Duties:

Lead, train, and mentor team members to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and performance standards

Oversee daily operations of the IOSF team, including hands-on training and development of the Shipping Lead

Monitor and maintain inventory levels for shipping supplies, boxes, and assets, ensuring accuracy and availability

Manage shipping dock activities, including the secure transfer of assets in and out of the facility

Foster a positive and collaborative working environment by addressing conflicts and supporting staff needs effectively

Maintain accurate employee records, including timecards, attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary documentation

Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support departmental and organizational goalsExperience and/or Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

6 months+ of supervisor experience and warehouse/shipping experience.

Familiarity with UPS, FedEx and other shipping methods

Basic knowledge of LTL freight and container shipping methods

Familiar and able to efficiently use the Iinvision Inventory Software and be able to train new employees
