Shuttle Bus Driver

Amentum is looking for a Full-Time Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team in Springfield, VA !Hours are 07:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.The Shuttle Bus Driver will transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule. Will regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort, and comply with all local traffic regulations.The Shuttle Bus Driver performs a variety of minor repairs and services to maintain the motor vehicle fleet. Will be responsible for tracking vehicle accidents, repairs, inspections, security, maintenance and replacements; submit daily deliverables to include, but not limited to accident, mileage, maintenance and cleaning reports. Perform other duties when not driving such as washing, cleaning, and lubricating vehicles; loading, unloading automotive parts and supplies.The Shuttle Bus Driver should assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle, secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip; may operate radio or similar device to communicate with the Dispatcher or other vehicles to report disruption of service.Essential Job Functions:

Check oil and washer fluid, wiper blades, power steering, etc

Verifies operational safety of equipment and devices such as brakes, clutch, lights, mirrors, glass, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, horn, warning lights and buzzers, emergency exits, wipers, signs, tires, etc.

Changes and repairs tires, performs complete battery service.

My fill antifreeze: service cooling systems (fill, drain, and flush); inspect and replace hoses, caps, valves, etc., as required.

Maintain vehicle utilization reports and updates spreadsheets with accurate service records for vehicles as required.

Minimum requirements:

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License with Class "A", Class "B" or Class “C”

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License with Class “P” endorsement

Must possess a valid State Driver’s License

Must pass driving record (MVR) check

Must be a US citizen

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
