As a Software Developer you will have responsibilities that include developing product enhancement, troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Our content management system (CoreMedia) is tightly integrated with our Commerce system (HCL Commerce) and will require a deep understanding of the content management system design and principles and a working knowledge of commerce systems. As well, the modernization of our development pipelines using DevOps tools and methodologies is critical to the success of the team and this developer will take an active role leading these efforts.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Develop Content Management System (CMS) software to integrate with HCL Commerce and other back-end systems Work with architects, engineers and developers to modernize our DevOps code pipelines, systems and processes Implement solutions as requested by customers Deploy updates and fixes Provide Level 2 technical support Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience Perform root cause analysis for production errors Investigate and resolve technical issues Act as subject matter expert for Content Management System Develop scripts to automate DevOps processes Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

EDUCATION / SKILLS Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 1-3years of experience with content management systems like CoreMedia Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines Automation of existing manual processes using tools like QuickBuild Working knowledge of databases and SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB Working knowledge of software security and best practices Experience with Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodology would be a plus. Self-starter who can work independently. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions. Solid experience utilizing HTML 5, CSS (SASS), JavaScript (jQuery, Node. js), JSP, Freemarker, XML, Spring, Intelli-J, Eclipse, with responsive design. Experience working with Spring framework and JAVA development preferred. Strong familiarity using GIT for source code management is preferred. Strong troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills, and ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems. Experience with performance testing, ideally with Apache JMeter, Client Load Runner, Silk Performer or similar, including tuning web applications and designing to accommodate performance requirements
