SummaryLeads highly complex or critical SharePoint projects that require a diverse array of programming expertise. Performs installation, functional and performance testing, maintenance, and modification of vendor supplied software.

Demonstrates project management skills and may serve as a lead on IT projects.

Resolves highly complex computer security issues by designing, developing, and implementing innovative technical solutions.

Provides technical leadership both inside and outside their areas of responsibility while looking for ways to apply the latest technologies for improvements to software and organizational effectiveness.

Participates in planning sessions with customers to improve business processes and prioritize investments in process, people, services, and infrastructure. Works closely with Technical Review Board and Enterprise Architects to assure all systems are in line with the long-term IT strategy.

Identifies enterprise information systems opportunities that align with corporate strategy and performance.

Proactively analyzes existing applications to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements. May oversee or lead the evaluation and selection process for application packages.

Provides recommendations, including advising on system options, risks, return on investment (ROI), and impact to business processes.

Identifies system requirements, develops application specifications, leads conversion and migration efforts, and develops convergence plans toward standards.

Establishes liaison relationships with business partners and/or suppliers in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs and influence strategic initiatives.

Assesses customer needs to determine alignment of unit/corporation business needs and the impact on business processes to establish strategic priorities.

Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Identifies better sources of data feeds and interfaces with Enterprise Architects to ensure feasibility with corporate data warehouse.

Ensures the adherence to quality standards and procedures, reviews modules for quality assurance, ensures compliance with application architecture standards and oversees unit testing to ensure applications meet specifications.

Leads the development of guidelines and standards to be utilized in software development/ integration including developing and leading implementation plans for integration testing. Interfaces with testing teams to incorporate plans into integration testing process.

Oversees and may handle Tier III support.

Provides technical guidance or business process expertise, technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members.

Builds business councils, develops governance agreements between customers and developers, develops reports and presentations for senior management, and facilitates planning processes.

Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.

You Must Have

Five or more years of direct work experience

Bachelors degree, certification or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree and certification

Programming experience in various major programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python)

Demonstrated experience in serving as a Technical Lead in support of projects.

Proficiency in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server.

Knowledge of SharePoint architecture including web parts, site collections, content databases, and server configurations.

Experience migrating SharePoint content across different versions and instances.

Strong knowledge SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint REST API.

Experience with communication site design, web parts, dynamic cards, data management, and search schema customization.
