Honeywell FM&T’s culture of integrity, commitment and continuous improvement enables them to deliver responsive, collaborative, and innovative management and technology services and products that translate into cutting edge solutions to complex national security issues.This position will be in Kansas City, MOSummary:The Specialist Sr. Cyber Security Compliance develops and maintains cyber security policy and cyber security plans to comply with cyber security requirements or provides guidance for other staff members to perform that work. Analyzes, tests, implements, and maintains moderately complex cyber security systems.Duties and Responsibilities:- Evaluate security requirements and conducts feasibility studies to examine software requirements, administration costs, and information flow
- Develop and maintain cyber security policy to comply with requirements
- Plan and schedule cyber security project activities and monitors and reports project progress
- Work with customers to implement system security measures, assists with cyber security plans and documentation and provides technical guidance and training
- Resolve routine cyber security problems and coordinates the resolution of more complex cyber security issues
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience in cyber security, security programs or compliance assurance
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, a related discipline, or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
- US Citizenship to obtain US Dept of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with implementation of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and FedRAMP certification process
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with NIST 800 series documents (e.g. 800·53), ESN/NSN environment and accrediting government owned information systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of security programs acquired through years of direct experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with cyber security eGRC tools and applications (e.g. Archer, Xacta)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey information with clarity and directness
- Strong time management skills
- Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting computer system audit reports
- Ability to read and comprehend government compliance documents, maintain accurate records, prioritize work and analyze problems to develop innovative and effective solutions
- Cyber related experience in a US Government environment
- Self-motivated yet must exhibit the ability to collaborate successfully within a team setting.
