Job Responsibilities:

You will be a valued member of a cross-functional support team responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining cloud based and legacy applications. Your primary focus will be on migrating legacy applications to a cloud based environment. You will be responsible for delving in to existing applications and learning their functions with the help of the existing team. Database design and advanced SQL will be required. Mentoring will be provided to you and you will be expected to mentor other developers.

  • Strong planning and prioritization skills to meet business unit commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities
  • A self-starter who delivers operational results that align with department commitments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years equivalent work-related experience
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Experience in Java and Java-based Web application development
  • Experience in database design and SQL programming.
  • Experience Spring framework, Eclipse IDE, GitHub and cloud technologies.
  • Solid Linux/Unix and Windows skills.
  • Familiar with Web services, Keycloak and OAuth 2.0.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Microservices architecture using Spring and Spring Cloud technology
  • JavaScript, CSS, Java, JUnit, JPA, Spring, NodeJS, Python, Angular, and any other modern languages you may work in
  • Worked with JSON, XML, AJAX files
  • Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of networking
  • Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies
