Staff Accountant

Description Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our client's finance team. This opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to enhance their expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliation. As a key contributor to the accounting team, the Staff Accountant will help maintain accurate financial records and provide essential support to meet organizational objectives. Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

Assist in month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

Utilize Paychex for various accounting functions

Leverage your knowledge of the real estate industry in financial management

Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration.Other requirements for the Staff Accountant position include and are not limited to:

3+ years of experience in Accounting.

Strong payroll, AR, and AP experience.

Real Estate experience preferred.

Paychex experience preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Spanish speaking strongly preferred
