SummaryThe Systems Engineer III is responsible the firm's servers and infrastructure by ensuring our systems are operational. The Systems Engineers are responsible for assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, designing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization’s quality standards
- Engaging in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational
- Ensuring that an organization is operating at maximum efficiency, from manufacturing to distribution
- Leads projects under minimal supervision
- Speaking to and collaborating with a variety of people, such as, vendors, management, IT staff and other Stifel associates during the creation and maintenance of a system
Qualifications- Develop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issues
- Ability to think outside the box; imagine innovative effective solutions and designs
- Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate solutions to complex problems.
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
Education & Experience- Bachelor's Degree in related technical field, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years' experience in system administration and engineering
