job summary:
Hybrid position 2 days/week onsite Our client in St. Louis, Missouri is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team for a long term position. The ideal candidate will have:- Experience supporting Data Centers and severs
- Microsft O365 applications
- Powershell, JavaScript or other scripting/ automation experience
- Performs additions and changes to Server operating systems which includes investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation and testing while following proper change control process.
- Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution. Ensures up-to-date documentation of the infrastructure and ensure the documentation is maintained and recorded accurately
- Provides direct support in the day-to-day operations of Server hardware and operating systems; duties include evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems.
- Perform regularly scheduled hardware and software maintenance, OS and security patching.
- Effectively manage Active Directory and DNS to ensure proper security of hardware, software and systems.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of IIS and Web Server installation and configuration including SSL technologies
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of hardware, software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
- Participates in planning design, technical review and implementation for new server infrastructure, Mange large scale projects using methodology for scope schedule and budget.
- Supervise and manage staff.
