Talent Development Specialist Dierbergs Markets is searching for a Talent Development Specialist who thrives on building strong partnerships and is a natural when it comes to cultivating talent. This individual will be responsible for ensuring our Associates and Hiring Managers have a positive experience as it relates to the internal hiring process. They will be expected to support and contribute to all development initiatives including implementation, administration and delivery of high-quality programs that inform, engage, and inspire Associates who are ready for the next steps in their development. Essential Job Functions:
- Develop strong working partnerships with Store/Facility Directors, Department Directors and Operations Supervisors to understand business objectives
- Manage full cycle internal recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive Associate and hiring manager experience
- Effectively represent the Dierbergs brand to all Associates in the recruitment process
- Provide coaching to hiring managers regarding interviewing and selection processes while keeping development initiatives in mind
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and provide counsel on hiring decisions
- Drive compliance in the internal talent acquisition process and ensure systems are running efficiently
- Conduct regular follow-up with business partners to forecast for future internal openings
- Communicate with Store Associates regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and gather feedback
- Responsible for ongoing monthly reporting to hiring managers
- Oversee maintenance of all internal job postings
- Drive awareness to internal promotion/development opportunities by creating and maintaining internal recruitment marketing materials
- Frequently visit stores/facilities to gather insights and connect with Associates on internal opportunities
- Assist with new Associate orientations and act as a facilitator as needed
- Serve as a resource for Associates, Store Directors and Coaches as it relates to Career Development
- Appropriately challenge the norms and promote new ways of doing things
- Work with development team to conduct research and gather data to recommended continued DE&I initiatives
- Assist with analytics, including benchmarking, tracking metrics, analyzing and generating diversity reporting to highlight trends and demonstrate impact of D&I programs and initiatives
- Contribute to and execute special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field of study preferred
- 2-5 years HR experience in the areas of recruitment or talent development required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively all while maintaining confidentiality

- Driven to find creative, tailored solutions to solve issues or improve processes

- Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (Taleo experience strongly preferred)
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Occasional evenings may be required
