We are looking for a Talent Development Specialist! The Talent Development Specialist is a key member of Danaher’s Global Talent Management Team, which is responsible for driving talent development and engagement across the organization through talent planning, talent development, associate insights and engagement, performance management and enablement, and organizational effectiveness. The team enables associates and Danaher Leaders to develop, engage, retain and deploy the best talent to grow our business and grow great careers through DBS. The Talent Development Specialist partners with the business to implement and sustain Danaher-wide, innovative development experiences, programs, and an esteemed faculty of Danaher leaders that help leaders achieve their highest performance and develop careers that realize their own and their teams’ potential. Instructional Design Support (25%)Format and update training materials for facilitators, faculty, and participants.

Provide input into design and development of content for E-Learning, virtual and remote learning, and in-person instructor-led training.

Write, format, edit, review, and proof Standard Work process documents.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learning vendors on planning, scheduling, and tracking work to meet training dates.

Danaher Faculty Coordination & Capability Building (25%)Support and coordinate Danaher executives across Corporate, Platforms, and Regions to lead Danaher leadership and development programs and experiences.

Build a community of practice to share standard methodologies and facilitate peer learning.

As a Training & Facilitation Techniques for Instructors (TFTI) Certified Practitioner, build capability in Danaher Faculty to ensure quality content and facilitation, for both in-person and virtual modalities.

Demonstrate Workday Learning and Workday Talent as key enablers to program delivery and tracking (15%)As a Workday Learning Administrator, partner with the Workday Learning Process Owner to ensure programs, courses, faculty, and reporting are enabled through appropriate technology solutions.

Provide ongoing support to audit, maintain, and improve the use of Workday Learning functionality (including participant enrollment, attendance tracking, report building, and functionality).

Establish, track and report on KPIs including Workday reporting and other surveying methods to measure program penetration and quality.

Ongoing Process Support (15%)Track adherence to Leadership Development governance and advise Operating Company/Platform/Regional leadership.

Coordinate annual leadership needs assessment.

Collaborate closely with and provide support to Danaher regional talent development teams.

Program and Conference Support – Live, Virtual and Hybrid (10%)Build Standard Work and process around logistics and coordination required to run face-to-face, virtual synchronous, virtual asynchronous, and hybrid programming.

Build Standard Work and process for high quality, repeatable technical production.

Hands-on production of virtual and hybrid events.

Manage vendor relationships (10%)Partner with Procurement, Information Security, and talent development vendors in contract negotiations, budgeting, and fulfillment to improve performance and value.

Coordinate with Program and Course Owners when discussing program content and quality with vendors.

Communicate with vendors on regular basis to ensure alignment and flag issues and opportunities.

Special Projects -Support and enable other Corporate Human Resource and/or enterprise Talent Management projects as needed

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matters most for this role:Executive Communications – Ability to communicate effectively and influence senior leaders. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills. A resourceful, critical, self-confident individual who possesses a combination of mental flexibility, creativity, analytical ability, and sound judgment.

Collaboration – Proven track record to effectively influence and collaborate at all levels, including the executive level. Acts as a “connector,” creating partnerships and working relationships across multiple businesses, geographies, and functions, working closely and confidently with talent and senior leadership.

Program Management – Disciplined and proficient at initiating, planning, implementing, controlling, and measuring large-scale initiatives with a distributed and diverse, indirect team to achieve specific goals and results.

Technical Skills – Strong command of Microsoft Office products: PowerPoint; Excel, Word, and HRIS systems including Workday. Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and graphic design preferred.

Analytical and Reporting Skills – Exceptional analytical and reporting skills. Experienced in telling the story behind data.

Process & System Orientation – Skilled in thinking through “how” things are done and translating complex processes into a user-friendly operating model, technology system, and set of tools to drive execution.

Problem Solving – Skilled in digging into the “why” behind a gap using data. Formal Problem Solving training preferred.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology or related field required; Master’s preferred.

Overall 3 years of work experience in learning or development-oriented roles.

Travel; 15-25% (depending on location)
