job detailsSeeking an experienced logistics and transportation professional for a growing company in the St. Louis area! Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of experience working in a TMS (transportation management system) processing orders, planning loads and communicating with truckload carries or 3PL. This position with also track shipments, provide status updates and run reports to ensure logistic KPIs are being met by carriers. This contract to hire opportunity boasts a healthy wage, work/life balance and inclusive atmosphere. This is a hybrid role allowing 1-2 remote days weekly. Bachelor's Degree preferred (not required) - I encourage anyone with 3+ years of experience to today!salary: $28 - $35 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High` SchoolResponsibilitiesUse basic knowledge of transportation and logistics
Assist with preparing new orders from the ERP system through the tendering of loads
Communication written and verbally with carriers
Utiliize load consilidation practices to control costs
Shipment tracking and providing constinuous updates to the customer service team
Audit carrier invoices and review discrepencies for a resolution
Monitor and manage the carriers' KPIs
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Report generation and filtering
