About the Role:In this role you will be involved with providing access management across applications, directories, and domains. This includes granting access for Unix servers and applications across the Federal Reserve System via fulfillment of incoming customer requests. Requests you can expect to receive include but are not limited to; Sudo/Dzdo commands, Unix file directory management, Centrify/Delinea role-based access, non-human account management and Samba shares.

Our Identity & Assess Management Analysts consult with business line technical staff, including developers, application owners and database admins to provide access solutions while maintaining information security standards and policies. Consultations routinely consists of explaining information security controls and how to request appropriate access, including developing procedures that follow documented security controls. Your work will involve identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing procedure/process improvements and enhancements. You will resolve access related issues and incidents for customers by developing an understanding of their technical problems.

The primary job location for this position will be the Kansas City Federal Reserve Bank office; however, remote work options will be considered.

Important Activities
  • Perform root cause analysis on specified incidents to mitigate similar issues from occurring.
  • Review, analyze, test, and document access related services and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify, design, and implement modifications and/or improvements for enhanced security, quality, standardization, and efficiency.
  • Understand customer requirements from request intake systems and customer consultation.
  • Utilize standard IT, audit, and security standards and methodologies when provisioning and designing access solutions.
  • Maintain familiarity of Identity and Access Management disciplines and methodologies, such as cloud security provider access management, role-based access control methodology, privileged access management capabilities and solutions, and identity provisioning. Strong emphasis on Unix/Linux (Server) Operating System and Centrify/Delinea.

Qualifications:
  • Typically requires at least 6 years of relevant experience. High school education or GED.
  • Experience working with privileged access in Unix/Linux operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree specializing in an information technology field from an accredited college or university or technical school, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Centrify/Delinea preferred.
  • Information Security industry certification (SSCP, CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred.
  • Cloud access industry certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) preferred.

This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
