Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Vehicle Management System (VMS) Software Engineering Mid-Level Manager (Level L) to join the Air Dominance VMS Software Team located in Berkeley, MO . This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.This person will be responsible for Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software for a classified program within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Air Dominance VMS portfolio.This person will develop and execute strategies for developing and maintaining VMS solutions for these platforms.Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Engineering
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Position to lead a classified VMS software team
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain a Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Program/Project Management experience
Prior experience in Software Development
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Prior experience in VMS Software Development
Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) experience
