Weekend Cook

Exprerienced Weekend Cook position in busy Breakfast/Lunch Cafe. Must be available Saturday and Sunday. 6am-2:30. Additional Part-time week days possible.

- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.

- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets the established quality standards.

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.

- Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Proficient in food handling and preparation techniques.

- Strong knife skills for cutting, chopping, and slicing ingredients.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff.

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred.

- Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen operations.

- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25-30 per week
