Responsibilities - Service Technician:

Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with The Brake Shop standards

Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair

Communicate with staff to obtain needed parts

Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required

Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised

Document work performed

Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all shop owned tools at all times

Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Requirements/Qualifications – Service Technician:

Previous Automotive Repair Experience – Hands-on experience with brake work, diagnostics, and general repairs is required.

Team-Oriented Attitude – We succeed together, so being able to collaborate and communicate well with others is a must.

Your Own Tools – A full set of personal tools is required to perform the job effectively.

Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record preferred.
