AECOM is currently seeking an Environmental Technician to join our team in Billings, MT.  In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team to support remediation system operation and maintenance and environmental monitoring projects in the Montana region. You will ideally have experience with and interest in mechanical. Mechanical experience is desired, and may include pump repair, plumbing, auto maintenance or similar. Environmental experience is not required, and required safety training and on the job training will be provided.  The responsibilities of this position include:Performing routine activities associated with operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems, and general equipment maintenance.Tracking operating parameters of environmental treatment systems.Assisting in collection of environmental field data under the direction of experienced staff.  Position will require OSHA 40-hour hazardous waste operations (HAZWOPER) and other safety training that will be provided at no cost to the successful candidate.  Travel to work sites requiring overnight stay may be required up to 1 week per month.  All travel costs will be paid by AECOM.
