Facilities Manager - Big Sky, MT

The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of all Cornerstone Management Services (CMS) and Elevated Metal Solutions (EMS) facilities, including warehouses, offices, cabins, sub crew housing, and equipment yards. This role ensures that all facilities comply with safety standards, are well-maintained, and support the company's operations effectively.

Facility Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all facilities to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

Scheduled Maintenance: Implement and oversee regular maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems.

Repair & Renovation Oversight: Manage and coordinate all facility repairs and renovations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Maintaining common areas: Ensuring the cleanliness of all common areas outside of the standard cleaning crews weekly visits and updating and maintaining cleaning checklists.

Safety & Compliance

Safety Protocols Implementation: Comply with and enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA standards and company policies.

Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. As well as workplace organization.

Training Programs: Work with Asset Manager to organize and oversee safety training sessions for all facility personnel.

Space Planning & Utilization

Space Allocation: Work with the Asset Manager, industrial engineer and CEO on the allocation and optimization of facility spaces to meet operational needs.

Facility Layout Planning: Work with the Asset Manager and industrial engineer to oversee the planning and execution of facility layout changes to improve workflow and efficiency.

Emergency Preparedness & Response

Emergency Plans: Maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters and facility-related emergencies.

Drills & Training: Conduct regular emergency drills and training sessions to ensure readiness.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintenance Logs: Maintain detailed logs of all facilities maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Compliance Records: Ensure all compliance-related documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.

Work with industrial engineer for COGS and records.
