The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow as a team player, and be willing to have fun. Duties and Skills:Design and specify basic systems without continuous oversight.Assist in managing CAD and production efforts.Perform consulting services for internal clients utilizing Fire Protection Engineering technical skills.Technical skills can include:Automatic suppression system designFire detectionAlarm and mass notification system designLife-safety code analysis and egress analysisFire resistant construction analysisSmoke control analysis and special inspectionGeneral fire protection and life safety concepts and researchPossess basic computer skills regarding computer-aided drafting, Revit, graphics, fire dynamic simulation, Outlook, email, Word, and Excel.Able to work independently and on teams.Be a positive contributor to the overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.Able to multi‐task and prioritize in a fast‐paced environment.Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.Perform other duties as may be assigned.This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
