Floor Supervisor, Chick-fil-A

Reporting to the Chick-fil-A management team, the Floor Supervisor is a working supervisory position overseeing the front of house, guest recovery, and assisting with back of house when needed.

Positively and professionally interacts with customers.

Supervises the front of house activities and staff within this large volume/high activity retail operation.

Provides active leadership and training of student and temporary staff.

Ensures SOPs are being followed.

Ensures quality service is being provided.

Regularly troubleshoots as issues occurs.

Communicates any changes to their team and the management team.

Assigns and performs the disposition and storage of foods (hot and cold), supplies, regular cleaning of assigned area, and maintenance of equipment in accordance with the sanitarian’s recommendations.

Ensures compliance with sanitation guidelines and food handling and storage FDA codes and as directed by MSU’s Registered Sanitarian.
