Heavy Equipment Operator

VEC is a local Underground Utility Construction Contractor looking to add Heavy Construction Equipment Operators to our fantastic team. We are looking for candidates who are career-minded and understand the importance of being a Team Player.

Must have at least one year of Construction Equipment Operating experience in Underground Utility Construction. Must have a valid Class A CDL License with a clean record (or be willing to obtain one). Pre-hire and random drug testing are required. Willingness to travel is essential.

There are certain physical requirements that must be met, including, but not limited to having the ability to operate heavy equipment safely on the jobsite, complete pre/post work inspections, and minor maintenance of various types of equipment. Must also have the ability to manage, track and report productivity. Must be able to independently follow and give instructions, and most importantly, understand and abide by Safety Regulations and Requirements.

Base pay starts at $25.00 per hour and increases based upon experience.
