Independent Contractor/Carpenter

Overview:

Yellowstone Building & Remodel is a small residential company seeking independent carpenters for a project downtown Bozeman.

Expectations:

- Be available when needed (during the week, typically work Mon-Thursday, 10 hrs/day).

- Bring a professional attitude to work.

- General understanding of residential construction.

- Willingness to perform all scopes of construction (concrete, framing, finish work, etc).

- Strong work ethic.

Requirements:

- Must have bags with basic hand tools.

- Must provide independent contractors license with proof of workers comp exemption or self-coverage.

- Must provide proof of General Liability Insurance.

Skills:

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Able to communicate effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, per job basis

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

40 hrs/wk

10 hour shift
