Bonfire, a restaurant in Woods Bay, is looking for a line cook to join our team. We are a “from scratch” kitchen that loves to experiment, create and produce quality food for our ever-changing menu. We strongly believe in sourcing locally, with 80-90% of our ingredients coming from Montana, with a focus on pre-refrigeration preservation techniques. We value our whole team, FOH and BOH, and offer shared tips to foster teamwork and a good working environment. Serious candidates will be hard working, team-oriented, friendly, efficient, able to follow written and verbal directions, willing to learn and teach, and able to offer a flexible schedule.

Desired Skills:

-Excellent knife skills and ability to quickly chop and prepare ingredients

-Understanding of basic cooking techniques and methods

-Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet fast-paced demands

-Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation

-Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff

Responsibilities:

-Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes at a designated station (e.g., grill, sauté, fry, etc.).

-Maintain quality standards for food preparation, including proper cooking temperatures and presentation.

-Efficiently manage the flow of orders and ensure timely delivery to servers.

-Stock and maintain kitchen stations with necessary ingredients and supplies.

-Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
