Machinist-Experienced-Lead

Baiar Industries Inc. is looking for an experienced machinist to join our team in Columbia Falls! We’re an AS9100 certified manufacturing company that takes pride in precision work and building high-quality parts. If you’re skilled at running CNC lathes and mills and want to be part of a professional, reliable team, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

-Proven experience with CNC mills and lathes-up to 5 axis- to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.

-Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation.

-Program CNC machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software.

-Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.

-Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.

-Lead machining projects and provide guidance to other machinists and operators.

-Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-4+ years machining experience in a job-shop or production environment.

-Strong attention to detail and quality.

-Experience setting up jobs, selecting tooling, and optimizing feeds and speeds.

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

-Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

-Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

-Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

-Strong problem-solving skills.
