Optometric PreTester at Quality Vision Care

Quality Vision Care is hiring for a full - or - part time Optometric PreTester position.

Starting pay is $15 per hour

No experience is required, we will train!

After 6 months of employment:

All employees are eligible for 3 at-cost items for themselves with an office credit that usually covers at least one item.

We are a small office of only 4 employees under one optometrist. Dr. Jenet Melton opened Quality Vision Care in November 2000. We celebrate our birthdays and achievements. Quality Vision Care has some of the best patients in Helena which makes it easy to come to work every day!

Position duties and responsibilities:

Pretesting patients for their appointments:

Set up equipment, monitor patient, and record results in patients chart

Ask questions relative to the patient’s appointment and record answers in chart

Clean rooms and equipment after each patient

Assisting with daily tasks in the office when not pretesting a patient

daily tasks are subject to change, but you will be trained in each task assigned

Our office hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm on Friday, and 10:00am-2:00pm on Saturday.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday have a full day of appointments. Wednesday will be a half day for all employees. Friday is a short day of appointments, most employees leaving by 3:00pm.

Saturdays are a rotating shift, usually only working 1 saturday a month.

Requirements:

Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Applicant should be detail oriented, efficient, consistent, receptive to constructive criticism, team player, and above all a nice person who loves to work with people!

While experience in the optometry field is not required, experience with Microsoft applications, google applications, and being comfortable with computers will be required to work in this position comfortably.
