Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Seasonal Chef for the 2025 holiday season to able to execute private in-home chef events and assist with prep at our kitchen. Position is available for 6 weeks from December 1st through January 12th. With possibility of continued employment past those dates.

This is a Full Time seasonal position with Lafoley Kitchen catering and private chef company, we have been operating in the Gallatin Valley going on 20 years. Our ideal candidate will be an industry professional with previous catering or restaurant experience.

Position Responsibilities:

Execute in-home private chef events

Manage the serving staff and all aspects of the events you are cheffing

Bring events to fruition from assisting with shopping to prep to the actual dinner

Know food handling practices

Work well with others and give direction in a positive way that encourages a great working environment

Multitask and prioritize in a short period of time

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license (no special license required)

Attention to detail

Ability to delegate and manage a crew with a good attitude

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Maintain a professional appearance at all times

Being committed and flexible enough to accommodate last minute events

Ability to speak with clients in a professional manner and be comfortable rolling with any last-minute changes

Carrying or lifting items that weigh more than 50 pounds occurs often

Compensation:

Per hr $22-30, or set Salary for 6 week seasonal position

Paid drive time, free meals, tip outs from events
