Cloud Engineer - REMOTE in

Omaha, NE

Local and regional candidates to Omaha preferred Multiple opportunities on a growing team at both Senior level and Mid-level for Cloud Engineers to be part of a transformative, state-of-the-art enterprise technology environment. Cloud Engineers will apply knowledge and experience with engineering principles and techniques to design, implement, integrate, optimize and manage Client’s Azure, AWS and other cloud provider systems, platforms, environments and infrastructure and consult and mentor internal teams to encourage cloud adoption.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • 4+ years of experience in the design, configuration and operation of a public cloud environment
  • Experience leading projects, implementations and meetings to facilitate the delivery of public cloud services
  • Experience in designing public cloud governance standards and policies
  • Experience in designing public cloud logical organizational structures, work flows, data flows and system architectures
  • Experience implementing, integrating, administering and monitoring public cloud services in Azure, AWS and or other public cloud providers
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services and or other identity solutions such as Okta or Ping
  • General experience in a wide variety of technical areas including, but not limited to: application deployment, configuration management, workflow automation / orchestration, process automation
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, SDWAN, VLAN, Routing, etc.)

Desired:
  • Experience with automation in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, JSON, Python and or other languages
  • Experience with automating various tasks as well as generating custom reports
  • Experience with public cloud cost management, security best practice and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with certificate provisioning and management
  • Experience with Microsoft Authenticator and or other multi factor solutions
  • Certifications in Azure, AWS and or other public cloud technologies

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incidents, optimize throughput, ensure availability and monitor utilization of the public cloud. The Sr. Cloud Engineer
  • Establish standards and enforce governance through cloud provider and 3rd party policy and security tools
  • Design, implement and maintain role-based access controls
  • Regularly interact and collaborate with team members, business teams and other IT teams to ensure a successful public cloud adoption
  • Gather requirements, lead implementations and migrations. Ensure client’s public cloud environments meet the security and GRC requirements. Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to other teams to build their competencies
