Our client is in immediate need for a talented

Desktop Support Engineer ; with experience in the

IT Industry. This is a

12 Months contract opportunity with possible extension and is located in

This requirement is a 100% onsite job

Required Skills:
  • More than 2 years of experience in Desktop Support
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 through Windows 10 and the ability to install integrate and support these operating systems.
  • Be able to install, maintain and troubleshoot MS Office Applications.
  • Install VDI client software remotely or on desk of end users.
  • Strong understanding of internetworking concepts; File shares, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.
  • Strong knowledge of client/server computing.
  • Knowledge on Interconnecting computer and peripherals (e.g Monitor, Printers, Scanners).
  • Experience in backup and restore of user profiles settings such as Favorites, Documents, network drives and other preferences.
  • Understanding of Remote Desktop Protocol.
  • Experience on End User Computing Projects.
  • Experience in working on Windows OS Upgrade projects.
  • Experienced on providing hand and feet support for end user Hardware refresh projects.
