District OverviewKiewit Business Services (KBS) is a cross-functional shared service organization that provides the business units with customer-specific services focused on cost and business value. Our services include non-core, yet essential, functions of our businesses including accounts payable, accounts receivable, change control, human capital management, payroll, project initiation, compliance and continuous improvement.LocationThis position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. ResponsibilitiesMaintain new and existing DOT Driver Qualification Files accurately and timely Manage expiring documentation in accordance with the FMCSA regulations and requirements

Assist in the DOT Drug and Alcohol program in accordance to the FMCSA regulations and Kiewit’s corporate policies

Communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and provide outstanding support to all areas of the Kiewit organization

Provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers; understand Kiewit’s core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business critical issues

Maintain the highest level of confidentiality

QualificationsExcellent organizational and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Superior attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies

Ability to understand and follow process and controls

Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a fast paced, high volume environment; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done

Logical reasoning abilities that enable one to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problem-solving

Excellent oral and written communication skills; the ability to clearly convey messages and ideas, gain understanding; generate interest and holds attention, listens and is open to the ideas of others

Ability to spot and anticipate problems and seek solutions

Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work

Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization

Experience in DOT, FMCSA regulations preferred College degree in business or related field preferred

Travel as needed < 10%

Lifting, sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, etc.

Reading from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources
