Position: Driver ManagerLocation: USA | Scottsbluff, NebraskaThis is considered a safety sensitive position therefore will be subject to random drug testing as required.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Manager at our Ameri-Co Carriers location in Scottsbluff, NE. The Driver Manager position is responsible for the management of contractor driver fleet and the trucks they are operating. This position is also responsible for scheduling shipments to meet customer and driver expectations while being safe and achieving high utilization of equipment.Position Details:

Role is direct management of drivers in the Flatbed, Dry Van, and committed fleets.

Team is Account Manager/Driver manager. Driver manager executes a planned shipment by working with shipper, consignee, and driver to successfully pickup shipment and deliver on time, safely and in compliance of FMCSA regulations.

Role is accountable for on time pickup of shipments by your driver fleet.

Daily review of safe driving metrics.

Resolution of issues in picking up or delivering shipments.

Daily review of driver utilization.

Monitoring of assigned driver certification renewal timing

2-year college and/or experience in transportation preferred

Effective communication skills with all personality types

Ability to assess situation quickly and develop an effective resolution to maximize

company and contractor revenue and meet customer requirements.

Effective skills in team building with driver fleet.

Multitasking, conflict resolution (customer demands/ to driver requirement/ safety)

Able to prioritize demands.

Efficient computer skills and comfortable with technology.

Able to meet timelines to resolve and complete issue, actions.
