Position Summary:

As a Field / Punch Out Technician at Regency Homes / Pacesetter Homes, you’ll play a key role in preparing homes for final delivery, ensuring high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety across our construction sites. Your mission is to deliver a “Zero Defect” home and help us maintain a customer “willingness to refer” rating of 95% or higher.

Key Responsibilities:

Home Delivery & Quality Assurance

o Deliver clean, complete, “Zero Defect” homes ready for buyer walkthrough.

o Conduct thorough inspections of all interior/exterior surfaces and yard areas nearing completion.

o Personally complete minor repairs and report subcontractor issues to the Builder.

o Complete and maintain the “Quality Assurance” checklist.

Customer Service & Communication

o Maintain a professional, service-focused attitude with homeowners, trades, vendors, and coworkers.

o Strive for a 100% willingness-to-refer rating from both customers and colleagues.

Construction Site Support

o Assist the Builder with site prep tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, tool maintenance, and general labor.

o Aid trade contractors with setup, clean-up, and light construction work.

o Ensure safety hazards are flagged and reported promptly.

Site Maintenance & Cleanliness

o Perform daily jobsite cleanup (sweeping, debris removal, trash control).

o Install and maintain required signage (e.g., Closed Worksite, For Sale, Window signs).

o Help receive, unload, and protect material deliveries.

o Shovel snow, de-ice walkways, and supply heat in winter months.

General Duties

o Install/remove temporary walkways and safety railings.

o Fur-out windows to accommodate drywall installation.

o Maintain and tidy model homes as directed.

o Follow all safety programs and company tool policies.

o Comply with OSHA, EPA, and erosion control standards.

Requirements:

Construction or punch-out experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction processes

Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
